1. Who we are
Cockroach Janta Party ("CJP", "we", "us") operates www.cockroachjantaparty.com and related campaign pages. Parts of the site use satire and political commentary. That does not change your responsibility to use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
2. Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when joining, volunteering, RSVPing to events, or contacting us. If you are under the age where you can consent to online services in your jurisdiction, you may use the site only with a parent or guardian's involvement as required by law.
3. Accounts and Google sign-in
Some features may require signing in with Google. When you do, Google shares basic profile information (such as name, email, and Google account ID) with us so we can authenticate you. You are responsible for activity under your signed-in session. Do not share access to your Google account.
You can stop using Google sign-in at any time by signing out and, if needed, revoking access from your Google Account permissions. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Membership, volunteering, and campaigns
Submitting a join, volunteer, petition, contact, or event RSVP form does not create a paid contract and does not guarantee a role, ticket, or outcome. We may review, approve, reject, or remove submissions that are abusive, fraudulent, spam, or unlawful.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or incite violence against any person or group;
- submit false identities, stolen data, or automated spam;
- attempt to break, scrape abusively, or overload the site or its APIs;
- use the site to commit fraud or violate applicable law.
6. Content and satire
Site content may include satire, parody, and political speech. Unless stated otherwise, trademarks and brand materials remain owned by their respective owners. You may share public campaign pages for non-commercial advocacy, but you may not misrepresent yourself as an official CJP spokesperson without permission.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. By using the site, you also acknowledge that policy.
8. Disclaimers
The website is provided "as is." We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that every campaign update is complete. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CJP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
